Liberal Youth, the youth and student wing of the Liberal Democrats are holding our Spring conference at the University of York from 26th - 28th February 2010.

Debt Drags Us Down
Debt is shackling the hopes and aspirations of our generation. People are being put off applying to university because of the cost. Yet the government is planning to charge you up to £7,000 per year for tuition alone. It doesn't have to be like this.
Speak Out
Our civil liberties are being eroded. Your right to protest has been undermined. You can be locked away for 28 days without charge. You can be stopped and searched without good reason. The government wants to put your life history on a database. You will be fingerprinted and processed just like a common criminal. This will not make us safer. In fact, without action today, your identity will be at risk. Information has already been lost. What's stopping them losing your identity?
Climate Crunch
Times are tough. Our planet is under threat. We must act now to safeguard our future. Luckily, it doesn't cost the earth to be green. Small changes in our lifestyle can have a huge impact. In fact, living environmentally can save you money, and keep you looking great.
We're the youth and student wing of the Liberal Democrats, representing the interests of all members aged 26 and under, and everyone registered as a student. We campaign, train members, run events, recruit new members and develop policy, amongst other things!
